About Me:​

Hi! I’m Gavin Joyce, a music producer and audio engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Production from Full Sail University. Some know me as "astronotagain." I've been into music my whole life. As a kid, I would mess around on piano for hours. It wasn't until high school that I started learning about rhythm and music theory, playing percussion for four years. 

 

After high school, I taught myself music production from 2019 to 2023. My original goal was to produce and write my own songs, but I turned that passion into producing for local artists. Those experiences taught me so much about running sessions, managing releases and deadlines, and the business side of music. Feeling stuck with my progress, I enrolled at Full Sail to sharpen my musical and technical skills, fill the knowledge gaps, and learn more about the professional side of music production. 

 

Now, my goal is to work on projects that matter, whether it's my personal projects, freelance opportunities, or becoming a part of a team. Music helped me when nothing else could, and I want to be that light for others.
